Unitedtofu

A community built around one humble ingredient

Unitedtofu is a tofu lovers’ community where we share our fusion style tofu dish photos and recipes. What started as a personal cooking habit grew into an ongoing creative project — a place to celebrate tofu beyond stereotypes, mixing Chinese home cooking with European ingredients and contemporary food styling.

Recipes, styled and shot

Each dish is developed, cooked, styled, and photographed as a small editorial story. The visual language stays consistent across the feed — natural light, warm textures, and a focus on the ingredient itself — so the community feels like one coherent publication rather than a scattered collection of posts.

What we achieved

• Built a community of 2,000+ followers at its peak, bringing together people around a shared interest in tofu and plant-based food.
• Created a self-sustaining community where members actively shared recipes, ideas, recommendations, and conversations around tofu.
• Established brand collaborations, including a partnership with Takenaka Bento, extending the community beyond its own channels.
